Automatically create start date when opportunity is confirmed?

Is there a way to automatically add a “Start Date” for an opportunity as the date it was “Confirmed?” I currently have 4 stages of Opportunities, and when I get to the “Confirmed” stage, I will create triggers for tasks. I would like to add the triggers as (Start_Date, +1) (Start_Date, +10), etc. I’d love to be able to do this by not having to manually enter my start date into the opportunity. I think I have a handle on how to create the task triggers once I have the start date. Thanks in advance!Tim

Using Close Date in Reports

Is it possible to use Close Date in Reports?Specifically, I am trying to see a dynamic view of how many open opportunities are assigned to each owner each month based on the opportunities’ close date. For us, close date is a fixed date when the opportunity will be closed out, so we would like to be able to see a view of our owners’ caseloads each month based on how many opportunities will be open at that time. Is this possible?

Pipeline filter and sort not working on mobile

When viewing pipelines on mobile, the Filter and Sort buttons are inoperable. They do nothing when clicked. I'm not sure when this began, but it's been consistently the same result for a week for me.

❗️LOST DATA - Google Contacts overwritten

I have a very sticky situation on my hands, and I’m hoping someone here might have sage advice. It looks as though Copper has been overwriting Google Contacts, resulting in the loss of hundreds of phone numbers from my colleague’s Android phone. At first, I thought it was a bug, as I don’t recall any warning about this in my onboarding. However, after chatting with support, it seems like this was avoidable with the proper guidance. Yes, here I am. Is there any way to retrieve what was lost or otherwise resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated as the loss of this data would be catastrophic.

Creating firs/last name fields to integrate with zapier and google forms

Hello, I am in the process of setting up a zapier integration to link a google form to my copper contacts. I would like to have both first and last name columns in my Copper People database but can’t figure out how to make that work. I just see a First Name field now. Thank you for any insight!!

Trying to capture specific interactions within a timeframe

I am wanting to monitor if a specific group of users has increased interactions with customers within a timeframe and write it to a report/insight/kpi kind of metric. For example we know we have a sample of customers who are not as interactive with us as we would like. We have challenged our Sales Managers to engage them more over the next quarter. Short of looking through Activity and counting sales manager interaction while excluding emails from others in our organization like billing, etc. Is it a matter of creating a CF, writing automation? But would would triggers be? Is there an out of the box thinking I haven’t thought of?

I know it’s possible as my boss does it, but he doesn’t know how he did it. Essentially what I want is when a client calls me, it shows up on my iPhone with their name. Can anyone show me how this is done?Thank you!

How to capture changes in connections between entities?

We have a service that uses webhooks to capture changes in the various Copper entities. Unfortunately the webhook is not triggered when there are changes in relations between entities. This issue applies both for standard fields (e.g. change company for a person) as well for the custom connect fields. Does anyone has a solution for this? Thanks, Jaco Koppelaar

In-app chat icon

Hello all -I have been trying to decrease the number of Copper CRM seats we have in the system. I can add seats but I have no way to reduce them. I do not see a chat icon or chat bubble anywhere in Copper. When I go to support, I’m directed to the in-app chat icon and I don’t have one. Any suggestions?

Weekly email updates for management

Hey all, Looking for ideas if anyone’s created a system to pull highlights from sales meetings and notify management of those highlights. Basically my CEO’s looking to have better visibility into feedback from sales meetings. Like product/feature asks, reactions to pricing, reasons for not moving ahead, etc. Anyone done anything to create a field for stuff like that, and get it collected and auto-emailed to management on a weekly basis? Column arrangment

Shouldn’t the edit box change order based on how you are arranging columns on the main pages? e.g. when you are in People and move a column, the box where you would edit does not change to reflect.

Workflow automation stopped working

this formula worked just fine in the past, but as I now add new deals to my pipeline (and edit existing deals, which is supposed to trigger the rule), it no longer works. I’ve checked and it is still active.

Best way to work with an email list?

I’m going to a trade show and have received a list of emails to send a one-time message to as an introduction and an invitation to our booth.I’m imagining that the best way to do this would be to import the list as leads, the list is approximately 1500 contacts.From there I could send out a single message sequence from the marketing tools section? These contacts are obviously not customers and I don’t want them in my people/companies list yet but not sure how to communicate through Copper or if I should use a different third party application like MailChimp?

Preferred Slack channel not showing up (Slack integration)

I have enabled the Slack integration. When configuring the integration, I set a private Slack channel as my preferred destination for Copper updates, but that Slack channel isn’t even showing up as an option under these refined settings — what could I be doing wrong here?
