Hi there. I was messaging today as I see a lot of workflow automations for Pipeline and such. But how much can you set up for the other side of things like when updating a companies or something?I am looking to set things as simple as.When i log a Breeze Session - Change Status from Education to adoptionOr when I set a calendar session for a bs change it from engagement to education and so on?Is that possible or is it mostly set up for stuff like pipeline?
I am trying to create dynamic pipelines. When we've move a person through our BASICS pipeline and they've filled out a placement application I want to be then able to clone the opportunity into our Community pipeline that follows up with onboarding, placement, and satisfaction reviews.I've spent a few hour following past videos and forums but nothing I'm doing seems to be working. I know there is a way to move people from one pipeline to the next but I was hoping to keep the original opportunity in place so that I can have it recorded as “won” in our BASICS pipeline.thank you for helping.
We have a pipeline that uses automation to clone an opportunity into two successor pipelines when the original opportunity is moved to won. We would like to remind the user to Verify/Update key data fields before marking an opportunity as “Won”, so the data automatically flows through and we don’t have to manually update the data on the cloned opps in the two successor pipelines. What is the best way to accomplish this?
I am using a workflow automation to create a duplicate opportunity, but with an updated name. In the existing opportunity I have a date field named “This report FYE”. When the automation runs, is it possible to put in a formula for this field (on the newly created opportunity) to have a date that is 365 days later than the original opportunity?
I am trying to create a workflow that autogenerates a task when another task with a certain tag is completed after a certain date. I’ve tried multiple times but cannot get this to work. Is task completion not a variable seen as a specific field/a task being updated? Is there anyway to automate a task when another task is completed?
Hello,I’m trying to create an automation to duplicate a deal once its 6 months or less from closing. I’ve created an automation with the following trigger:`Close Date` - `equals` - `Use a Formula` - `DATEADD(close_date, -180)`I’ve also tried the formula `DATEADD(GETVALUE(close_date), -180)`I’ve tested this a number of times and so far the new deal has not successfully been created. I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong in the formula or maybe something else is off? Here’s the action that tries to create the duplicate: Thanks for the help!
Can I use a workflow automation to create a task that is due 6 months after another custom date field?
I don’t have this custom field yet, because I want to know if this automation would work before I create a new field. But, can I have a workflow automation create a task based on a custom date field? So if the date in the custom date field is 12/31/2024, can an automation make a task due 6 months before that custom date?
Hello,I’m trying to fulfill automaticly a field when a task is created, and the function null I use for checking if the field is empty or not doesn’t work. Actually, my workflow automation looks like that: When a task is created,If the fiel “email opportunity” is emptyThen (Action) Update task and fullfil this field with the related email adress. But the problem is that the workflow doesn’t work. See picture below:NULL function not functioningResult (nothing appears in the field email opportunity)
I created a workflow automation that should trigger on any person who does not have inactive days. These are people who were mass imported, and the sales team should get a task to reach out to them. Here are my conditions: It’s set up to create tasks, but it never does. I’m confident that the inactive days condition is what isn’t being met. If I pull that condition out it will create the tasks. Based on my reading of the documentation, using Use a Formula and NULL (all caps) is the right way to do it. Thanks in advance.
Hello,I wonder how we can reset the inactive days with a workflow automation? The inactive days don’t take into account the phone call we can have with the client, so sometimes it doesn’t reflect the good info. I would like to create a worklfow automation when the field “last contacted” is filled then the innactive days is reset to 0, is it possible? Are there other possibilities to reset the inactive days ? Thanks , Emma
Hello Community,I am updating our automated tasks and want to delete some task that are no longer needed and the delete function will not delete the task. I click Delete at the automated task list, it opens that task and I click delete again and it returns to the list of tasks and the deleted task remains. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bridget
We recently held an event that had over 100 attendees. I have added as specific tag to all of these attendees into copper on their People record. Some of those people records are related to Opportunities in my Pipeline and I want to add the tag for this event to the opportunities. Is there an easy way to have the Opportunity record “inherit” the tags from the people record(s) that are related to it? I didnt see a straight-forward way to do this via a workflow but perhaps I am missing something? I know I can manually go to each opportunity and add in the Tag but I am hoping there is a fast, easier, more automated way to accomplish this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I don’t understand how when I get the template for importing contacts, they do not at all map to what I see in Copper or in the Gmail extension. For example, it says “Phone” but not “Work Phone” or “Mobile Phone”It doesn’t seem to make sense that there would not be consistency. And none of the options in “Category” relate to my question
Hi, I’m new to copper and I noticed that we capture data for Source and Medium and a few others under people, but in the sales opportunity funnel that information is blank. Is there a way to pass that data through? I don’t know if I have the proper permissions to do that.
Hey All, We would like to produce some summary emails for our upper management with relevant activity (i.e. all the new contacts and opportunities added that day). I assume this could be achieved through automation. Does anyone have anything similar set up?Could anyone advise? Thank you in advance!
I am getting an issue with adding a custom field to a Workflow automation. Here is what I have entered: CONCAT("https://luxuryrehabs.com/",cf_profile_slug,"/")Attached is the error and a snapshot of the Manage field (Unsupported Variable) and showing the field (Profile Slug), not sure what I am missing here.
Hi there, I let Copper sync all my google contacts before. Two questions: Is it possible to have an option to not sync the entire list? Although it assured me, that it would not import duplicates (previously imported contacts), it did and now I have my entire contact list in Copper two times… Is that a bug or will it be like this every time, that I want to automatically sync contacts from google contacts? Thanks for letting me know!Jul
Hello,When updating a field in a profile, I’d like a pre-existing email template sent to the contact on the profile.E.g. Change Contact Type from ‘Lead’ to ‘Customer’ = ‘Welcome Email Template’ sent .Is this something that is possible to achieve now, if so - how? And if not, is there anything on the road map for the implementation of this? Thanks,Ed
Is there a way to automatically add a “Start Date” for an opportunity as the date it was “Confirmed?” I currently have 4 stages of Opportunities, and when I get to the “Confirmed” stage, I will create triggers for tasks. I would like to add the triggers as (Start_Date, +1) (Start_Date, +10), etc. I’d love to be able to do this by not having to manually enter my start date into the opportunity. I think I have a handle on how to create the task triggers once I have the start date. Thanks in advance!Tim
I created a custom field, and am trying to clone it to a new pipeline, but I can’t. I set a custom field key for the custom field. And I just get this error: - Unsupported Variables ["travefy"] (travefy is the custom key I made) I have saved the key, it’s in the record. I deleted it and readded it, I logged out and in...appears there is no way to get it to recognize the key.
