Hi. In my opportunities, I am trying to multiply two values: a per transaction price x a quantity of prepaid transactions, to calculate the total prepaid dollar amount of a deal. I used the commission workflow as a starting point, but I’m getting an error. The workflow formula is below: Pilot/Yr1 Annual Min Fee - change to - Use a Formula - IF(ISBLANK(prepaid_active_customer_fee), 0, (prepaid_active_customer_fee*pilot_yr1_prepaid_active_payment_customers)) When I save, I get an invalid statement error. Can anyone see what I’m missing?
Hi There, There is still no useful way to manage and remove duplicates in Copper. If I look at an instruction like this, I wonder if this is for real: https://support.copper.com/hc/en-us/articles/213584103-How-do-I-merge-or-delete-duplicates-in-bulk-There are tools like https://dedupe.ly/ and others which could be integrated. But the current solution is not really a solution.Is there any timeline when you plan to fix this? ThanksR
Has anybody figured out a way to add tasks to projects via some sort of trigger? Our use case: different customers want to setup our product with different features enabled. Different feature-sets require different data gathering, setup and training tasks to complete. So, I would like to be able to tag a Project with the feature-set that’s going to be enabled and have it generate the relevant tasks for my team automatically based on that. Thanks!
I was hoping there would be a workflow automation I could set up so that when I create a New Opportunity in a Pipeline, this would trigger an email to others on my team so that they are in the loop without having to log into Copper. Additionally, this would be helpful when an opportunity moves between different stages of the Pipeline. Thanks!
Hello all, I am currently looking to optimize our usage of contact types to have better mailing lists. Is it possible, in any way, shape or form, to automatically change all the contact types of all people associated to a company by changing the company’s contact type? We sometimes have up to 10 contacts in a company before landing the deal, so we wanted to make sure to speed up to processu when the potential client becomes a client and change everyone to Current clients in one click. Hi Copper Team, Is there any possibility to push back from the company to lead? What we did before do it manually, going through to the company deleting them, and creating new leads. But it takes time. So would be nice if there is any option we can do it easier and faster. Thank you
I’m trying to create a workflow that scans either opportunities or companies won date/start date and creates a $0 opportunity in a Quarterly Business Review pipeline. The opportunity should be created about 60-90 days since the customer started so the CSMs can manage and complete the QBR. I’m having some trouble formatting this workflow automation - any suggestions?
I followed the instructions for the commission calculator in Workflow Automations, adjusting it to my own needs, when I put in the formula used, I changed “Commission Rate” to “Revenue Split” since that is the name of the field I have (Field key = Rev_Split) but...it came back with an error titledUnsupported Variable: [‘monetary_value’] What is monetary_value supposed to be representing in this workflow recipe? I don’t see it mentioned anywhere else in the doc: “Example Workflow Automation: calculating commision” The point of this automation is to make “Prep Revenue” = 50% of “Contract Price”50% is represented by “Revenue Split”Attached are screenshots of the error when entered as-is in the Copper Example, and the error when I changed “monetary_value” to “Contract_Price”TIA for your help!
Automation - Moving an Opportunity in one Pipeline to 'Won' when a new Opportunity is created in another.
We have a recruitment pipeline that records interested sign-ups and manages the follow-up email process for our US Coordinator. We have a two separate pipelines that create Opportunities when a prospective student completes an application form, allowing their application process to be managed by our Admissions Coordinator.I am looking for a recipe for an automation so that when the student applies, and an Admissions Opportunity is created, the Opportunity in the Recruitment Pipeline connected with the same Primary Contact is automatically moved to 'Won’ status.
Considering Opportunities list both have a contact and company as field on records, and are listed in the Related Section for Opportunities, should it not be possible to add a contact, and/or company to the Company record.For example, if I create an Opportunity it requires a primary contact as a field on record and has Company as a an optional field on record.If I create a Company there is no field that I can add a Primary Contact to, and when viewing Companies, you are not able to see “Contacts” in the related section either. In addition:Considering the Company is now considered the “Parent” record,Does it make sense if I update the Company that it then updates child records (related records) to match, or have the option to automate this?Example, - If on the Company record and I change Contact Type from Potential Client → Active Client this then will trigger the action to update the Contact Type for related Contacts to “Active Client” (matching the Company contact type) Same goes for

Hello Copper Community! If I need to send out over 100 emails on a monthly basis for a single campaign (we have 3-4), how would be the best way to structure it with Copper automation? It’s a daunting task to get out 400+ emails per month on separate pipelines with different templates and all sorts of variables. Just not sure the most efficient way to accomplish this task since I imagine there are a few ways to handle it via Copper. But I want to know which is the most efficient means. We currently have a workflow automation that creates a new opportunity in a different pipeline when the original opportunity is Closed-Won. This automation creates the new opportunity and pushes the Opportunity ID of the original opportunity to a field called, “Related Opportunity” Instead of just pushing the ID of the original opportunity, we’d like to push the URL link to the original oppportunity. How do we do this?
So, we have a pipeline that charts our academic courses in a semester. The course is created as an Opportunity Record, the tutor (People Record) is the primary contact, and then individual students (People Records) are attached.What I have been asked to do is to see if there is a way to create an automation so that, when a Student is appended to the Class their name is added to a Google Sheet Tab (which will form the basis of the class register).I can see no obvious way to do this, neither through Workflow automation or reporting, nr by running a Zapiier Zap.Any thoughts, suggestions, or help, would be gratefully received.
