I’m wondering if I can use Logic within Copper to automate something that usually is manual. For example if I were to move a task into the progress bar and it stays there for 3 days it would create a task automatically and send it to someone else so they can take care of it. Is it possible to use Logic to automate this since copper does not have it currently.
Dear Copper Team, I have a custom currency variable that might be between $0 and $1 (i.e let’s call variable 1 = $0,08).And I have a second variable which is number. (i.e variable 2 = 1000) I’ve noticed that when I try to use them for my workflow automation to (calculate variable 1 * variable 2) Copper doesn’t calculate final results. It seems it doesn’t work when the currency value is less than 1😥. Could you please check it? It’s important for my reporting.Thanks

I tried to put myself, but when I started to type my name, other names came up, but not mine Who should I put for Last name, first name, title, street, city? Help appreciatedCurt

Workflow Automation Recipe help for moving opportunities to a different pipeline stage based on a custom field date
Hello everyone!I need some help creating a workflow recipe for one of our pipelines. We have a pipeline that tracks all of our current customers that have purchased software. Each customer is required to renew their annual support every 12 months so this pipeline has the following stages:Current 6 months from Expiring 90 days from Expiring 30 days from Expiring ExpiredEach opportunity also has a custom date field called Paid Date. When a customer is 180 days past the Paid Date, the opportunity should be in the 6 months from Expiring Stage (and so on with the other stages).What I want to do is create a workflow that checks the Paid Date once a day and moves the opportunity to the correct stage based on how many days it’s been since the Paid Date. So that would mean:Any Opportunity in the Pipeline where the Paid Date is less than 179 days prior to the current date would be in the Current Stage of the Pipeline Any Opportunity in the Pipeline where the Paid Date is between 180 and 269 days
with those contacts that want to unsubscribe, how do we record them so that they will no longer be contacted? I can delete them from copper, however if later another colleague adds them back in without knowledge that they have unsubscribed previously, and the colleague contacted the person again, it is a real problem.
I receive leads through a third party -When the lead comes in, I receive an email from the third party. The email essentially says:The person below wants to speak to you about how you can help! Instead of automating a “Task” reminder, is there a way of triggering a “Bulk” email template to automatically be sent according to specific criteria? For instance, automating an email to be sent to an Opportunity’s Primary contact, with a due date set to 60 days later (after an Opportunity’s Stage was changed).
For each opportunity in each step of the pipeline, I want to attach the same set of tasks. I set-up a project with all the tasks, but I don’t see how to attach the project to the opportunity. I also don’t see how the Project template would help, since it only contains three fields. Please advise the best way to have the same group of tasks launched for each opportunity.
I have a workflow set up where it would create a new opportunity with a specific naming format using a formula when a checkbox on a Person account is checked to "true". A user can inadvertently check, uncheck and check box again and that would create duplicate opportunities.Since Opportunity names are not unique, I want to know if there is a way to create a workflow that would prevent an opportunity record from being created if another opportunity exists with the same matching opportunity name.Feel free to re-post this as an idea or merge with another related post.
I can see that when marking an opportunity as Won you can immediately create a Project. I see that the resulting project will pull information from the opportunity, including the company, owner, description, and the activity log. How do I get it to pull in other custom fields in the Opportunity that are identical in the resulting Project?

I work for an insurance company, I’m trying to automate some of the mundane task so workflow is easier and faster. It’s a two person company.Here’s the flow right now - She sends me base quote in drive. Then she messages me that it’s there. I create a quote document for coverages. I send it back to her. She sends this quote to the coverage insurance to see if they are willing to cover. Sometimes they don’t get back to her and she forgets. Driver is waiting and we may loose the opportunity. Here’s where I want copper to come into play, I’ve been playing around with the workflow settings but can’t seem to get it down correctly or know the best way to go about this.She sends me an email and tags it with special tag → that tag triggers a new task for me → I am able to view this task with the email details attached to it in the copper side panel of Gmail. → I complete the task, reply back to the email, and tag the email as another special tag → Tag triggers the former task to be completed →
Hi! I would like to automate a recurring task but I’m not sure if this can be done. I would like to set it up so that when a client changes to a specific contact type it will set up a task for me to call them every Thursday at 10:30. Can this be done? I’m seeing where I can do that on an individual client or where I can automate something to happen X number of days after the contact type is changed but not a mix of the two. Thank you!
Hello everyone!We run a fabrication business and we have designers (People and/or Companies) that have specific requests for unique paperwork each time we complete a project for them. I’m trying to find a way to use automated workflow to generate a task when that specific person/company is used in a project, it will put a task in that project to remind us to send that paperwork. Unfortunately, it’s a smaller pool so making it work for all projects isn’t really an option. If anyone has an idea how to do this or even another route we can take, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
