Hey,

How can I turn off the extension appearing in Gmail by default? Every time I open Gmail I have to click to hide it… I’d prefer to have it off by default and click if I need it.

Thanks!

Hi @gm89 ,

As far as I am aware there is no way to disable the extension for Gmail by default.

However you can on your Chrome browser simply disable (not remove) the Copper extension whenever you are not using it.

Whenever you want to use it you can simply re-enable the extension on Chrome (It is a simple toggle  on Chrome to enable and disable Chrome extensions)

Hi @gm89! I can confirm that @Harsh has it correct - we don’t currently have a setting to have the Copper Chrome extension closed by default. We do have an open Idea about it, so I recommend you leave an upvote on this thread so that we can @mention you in any updates about that feature.
