Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up a Zapier connection that takes a Slack message and turns it into an Activity on a Company record. You and your team would trigger this by applying a specific reaction/emoji onto that Slack message.

This would be useful if you have a Slack channel dedicated to a certain client or relationship. That way, as you are coordinating with your team, you can push notes and updates from that Slack channel into that Company’s activity feed in Copper - simply by leaving an emoji on that Slack message.

To set up this connection, you will need:

1. Copper CRM on Professional or Business Tier (admin access required)
2. Slack with a Channel for the Company you are communicating with or about
3. a Zapier account on any paid pricing tier
