We’re celebrating Small Business Week 2022 by spotlighting some of our Copper customers. Often we think of small mom and pop retailers when we think of small businesses, but there is so much diversity in this space. Small businesses live and prosper in almost every niche and industry you can think of 👏

On our blog, we’re sharing the innovative and inspiring stories of small businesses that took the leap of faith often needed to go out and fill a market gap or customer problem.

We give you a glimpse into their achievements and what they’re most looking forward to in the future. We’ve got the warm and fuzzies celebrating the wins of our amazing Copper small businesses 😊

Here’s a sneak peek:

Flight Charter

Flight Charter is a boutique flight chartering service specializing in custom chartered in Australia and surrounding areas. Since opening in 2017, Flight Charter has grown significantly:

“I think that our biggest achievement has been to bootstrap our business from a $50,000 initial investment to become a business employing 4 staff with revenues of $5M per annum with zero debt of over 5 years,” says David Mackey, Chief Flight Manager. “We’re still growing at more than 30% year over year.”

Flax4Life

Flax4Life is a baker and distributor specializing in gluten-free goodies. Their business began following family health concerns leading to a celiac disease diagnosis. The family was inspired to create gluten-free baked goods for all.

“We’re most optimistic that most, if not all, of the supply chain issues will improve in the future. For everyone, the last two years have been challenging, and for a small business, it isn't easy to have to pivot so much with all the disruptions in supply issues and the impact of Covid. Our hope is for the world to settle a little and continue to heal and grow from all the events of the last couple of years as we move towards a more manageable future.”

We hope you’re inspired by these small business stories. Read the full article on our blog here.

Happy Small Business Week!
