A few weeks ago, we sat down with specialty contractor Egan Company to find out how it’s using Copper. As a result of the pandemic, the Minnesota-based company went through a major workforce transition. Egan fully embraced the hybrid work model, giving their team more flexibility to work from home or from local jobsites, depending on their role in the company. The biggest challenge company leadership faced was creating a reliable single source of truth to keep everyone on the same page and moving forward 💪
Thankfully, Copper was already in the company’s tech toolbox and could help support this transition while keeping everyone in sync. Egan originally brought in Copper in 2018 to help improve internal communications and gain full visibility into the sales and prospecting activities around open opportunities 🔍 In 2020, the need to stay connected became even more important and Copper’s mobile app helped Egan’s team do just that, while keeping its data up to date.
For a team of nearly 1,000 employees, the ability to log updates in real time is a game changer:
“No one has to remember to send an email to update an account after they get back to their desk,” says Director Jessica Johnson, explaining that important details were sometimes missed when the team relied primarily on email for such communications.
