The Copper Community is a welcoming space for collaborating, connecting, and sharing knowledge with each other. Use these guidelines to guide how you interact with others and how you use this space – and to set your expectations of other users in this community.

Please be mindful that your participation in this community is subject to these guidelines.

Respect above all else

This community is meant to be a safe, friendly space and everyone must do their part to make all users comfortable. Please treat your community members with respect, and always be kind. We do not tolerate hate speech, bullying, name calling, or any other type of offensive behavior.

Your input matters

We launched this community for you, which means we want to hear from you! As a Copper insider, chances are you have valuable knowledge to share that could be helpful to your peers. If you see a discussion topic or forum where you can contribute, please do. Our moderators are here to support and publish helpful content, but you are the key ingredient to making this community thrive.

Help keep things organized

This is a shared space, and with lots of people things can get, well, cluttered. Help us keep the community organized and easy to navigate by always searching for answers to your questions first before starting a new entry or creating a new question. Chances are, one of your peers might have already shared the answer you’re looking for! Staying organized also applies to staying on topic: please keep your responses on topic to help make this content as useful as possible for all members.

Keep it clean

If your content isn’t appropriate for the workplace, chances are it’s not appropriate for this community. Keep things clean and classy at all times. All inappropriate content will be flagged and removed.

Good things come to those who wait

If you ask a question, you may not get a brilliant answer right away. Be patient and give community members time to chime in and fully engage with your query. While you wait, please don’t post the same question in another forum – it just makes things messy.

Only share content you own

Your input is valuable, but please make sure it’s your own. Sharing your own original insights and contributions is the best way to engage in the community, but if you want to share a piece of content that someone else created, always give them credit. We do not tolerate plagiarism.

Put privacy first

This is a public space where a lot of people can see the information you share. Do not share personal information or anything that would put your privacy, or that of another member’s, at risk. Use your best judgment and common sense. If another user is making strange requests or seems to be fishing for sensitive information, don’t engage with them and report them to community moderators immediately.

Leave the soliciting and affiliate links at the door

This is a soliciting-free space – seriously. We are here to share knowledge and insights, and no one wants to be bombarded with unsolicited product pitches or affiliate links. Any posts that are clearly selling a product or service or that contain affiliate or referral links will be removed.

Help us keep the community safe

Our community moderators do their best to quickly remove posts or comments that violate these guidelines, but we need your help flagging them. If you see something that does not follow these guidelines, just click on the three pink dots at the bottom-right of a post and select “Flag.” Our team of moderators will be notified and will then take appropriate action. Copper reserves the right to delete posts or remove users from the community if they are harmful to this space.

Customer support

We created this community as a forum for Copper insiders to ask questions and get answers, and it should be your first stop for general help related to Copper. But there is a time and place for official Copper support: if you need assistance with technical issues, billing questions, account changes, etc. please Submit a Request here or from your Copper account, select “Send us a message” using the chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
