NEW ✨ Task automation for all ✨

We're thrilled to share that we're making it easier for all Copper customers to conquer their to-do lists. All Copper plans now have access to Task Automation — so you can set your tedious tasks on autopilot, and spend more time getting important work done 💪From sending welcome emails to creating follow-ups, we’ve got you covered. You have the power to mobilize your team and stay on top of your central relationships. Where do I find task automation? Just navigate to Settings > Automation > Task Automation to begin automating your team’s most common tasks. How does it work? If you have commonly occurring or repetitive actions in your workflow, you can automatically generate tasks for these actions in your Copper tasks list. For example, if a stage changes on an opportunity in your Pipeline, you may want to automatically create a task to follow up with that customer. Workflow automation: populate a unique ID number on a Project or Opportunity

Every record in Copper has a unique ID number. It’s quite common to use this Copper ID number across different platforms. For example, you might take an Opportunity’s ID number and reference it on an invoice.This quick guide will show you how to populate the Copper ID into a custom field so that you can quickly grab it for use elsewhere or maybe include it in your reports! This guide has all the details you need to set this up. If you prefer a more general guide on Workflow Automation, click here!Note: Workflow Automation is available to admins on our Professional and Business plans. Step 1: create a Custom Field to store the ID numberYou’ll need a Custom Field to store the ID number. To do this:Go to Settings > Customize > Manage Fields on Records. Select the record type you want the ID for - People, Companies, Opportunities, Projects, etc. Click the Create Field button. For Type, select Text Field. For Label, enter the name for the field, such as “Project ID” or “Opportunit

You can now place the form, standalone, onto your website – with no widget in sight ✌️ How it works1. Create or customize your form: Use Copper's form builder to design the perfect form for your website.2. Get your embed code: Copy the provided code snippet.3. Paste the code into a code block on the webpage: Place the code where you want the form to appear. We’ve updated the Installation Guide, which includes step-by-step instructions for customers using Squarespace and WordPress. Additional optionsWant to use both?
