Automatically switching contact types by switching company type

Hello all, 

 

I am currently looking to optimize our usage of contact types to have better mailing lists. 

 

Is it possible, in any way, shape or form, to automatically change all the contact types of all people associated to a company by changing the company’s contact type? We sometimes have up to 10 contacts in a company before landing the deal, so we wanted to make sure to speed up to processu when the potential client becomes a client and change everyone to Current clients in one click.

Hi @Charles_M, thanks for posting! To be honest, we do not have a mechanism that can automatically change a Person’s Contact Type based on the Contact Type of the Company they are associated with. We do have an open Idea thread about a feature that would allow this - I recommend you give that thread an upvote so that we can @mention you with any updates.

That’s probably not the answer you were hoping for, but I hope it adds some clarity!
