I’m trying to filter using several email addresses but when I copy/paste the emails in the email filter I get no results or very few results. See below an example:

I was talking with support and they mentioned I should post to this forum. Right now the way copper is set is the default from email address when using the bulk email feature is your workspace email. Now I have other emails within my workspace account that use an offsite smtp server and these are my default email settings. Now I’m not sure why there isn’t a drop down that allows me to choose the email from option within the bulk email feature but right now it forces the use of the workspace email domain for sending and from what I understand there it no way to change this. This forces the use of the google smtp servers. The other alternative which uses the gmail pop up window for sending allows me to use my other domains but there is no merge capabilities on this and it uses CC instead of BCC for sending so this is useless. The other alternatives is I tried to reroute my primary workspace email domain on the backend through the other smtp servers and that is not an easy feat. And final
I was attempting to follow this Support Page, and the critical “import data” button is missing from the Copper Add-On Menu. See attached photo showing Copper Add-On dropdown with “Get Activities” but no “import data” option. Please help.
Hello, I am trying to match up my Opportunities to my People using this workaround: https://support.copper.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002803763-Add-a-Copper-ID-to-the-People-record to create a merge-able set of data that I can merge and migrate elsewhere.The problem is, it is out of date. There is no “ProsperWorks ID” as indicated in Step 7.We need to move forward with our migration. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I currently have 649 “Leads,” most of which have been static for quite a while due to not being sure what to do with them.What does “convert lead” mean?Some of these “leads” are existing “People” and I don’t want to add duplicates.Does “convert lead” just update an existing record or does it add a duplicate person? Are there any tips on how users typically utilize this feature?I would like to have my SDR review the leads and work to clear them out but didn’t know about how that affects the People as described above. Additionally, we would like to assign the lead but not all of the sales team has access to the Leads section so we can’t assume them because they can’t view them, Any ideas would be appreciated!
I have a filter that I check weekly (I monitor if any “Current Clients” haven’t heard from us in over seven days). Is there any way I can get a weekly email update based on a filter? (so I can automate my check-in).
Hi there - For quick context: there are a total of six users, each of us have admin privileges. We have been using Copper for some time to track our BD conversations. All six of us need to be able to have complete visibility over these. We would also like to use Copper for our investor conversations. Only three of us should have complete visibility over these. How do we go about doing this? Could we schedule a short demo to go through?
Hi We are moving from salesforce to copper and using copper webhooks to sync CRM data to our client application. We have an issue with delete notifications. The delete notification does not include anything other than the copper “people” id reference. Once a person is deleted and the event goes off to our other system, the id no longer points to a record and we are unable to find data that can identify the contact in our system (we are not using copper id’s in our system). Unless I’ve missed something, it’s not possible to know what record has actually been deleted. This forces us to iterate over all “people” in the copper api until we discover what’s missing compared to the users in our app.Is there a way to get additional data besides the id? Perhaps through a setting?If not, I feel very strongly that a delete notification should include the record data that is being deleted, e.g. the field values should be present in the updated_attributes field for the webhook.ThanksWalter
I am setting up task automation, the opportunity owner is usually an Account Executive and we tag SDRs to the opportunities. When creating task automation, if I tag one of my SDRs would they be notified--I guess what I’m really asking is what is the point of having tags at the bottom of the task automation set up?
Is there a feature that hides the opportunity through permissions? We had one created which was linked to the individual but now we cant find it.
Is there a way to make a list of task automations when an opportunity is created, but ONLY in a certain pipeline?Here’s why I need this.I have several pipelines and other automations built for opportunities to be created in these pipelines when certain triggers happen. But every time one of these automations is triggered, it creates my original list of task automations that aren’t relevant any longer to the opportunities that are now being created. The solutions of creating workflow automation instead of a task automation isn’t a good one because I need notes and directions in the tasks for others to know what to do.Any help appreciated.
I’ve recently set up the Mailchimp integration to sync two-ways. I would like to see some Mailchimp data in a contact’s individual record in Copper so I created and mapped custom fields for “status” “rating” “open” and “click” and made them all text fields. My records are syncing but I don’t see any Mailchimp data in the custom fields that I made and mapped (see screenshot of custom fields)However, I do see this Mailchimp data in the contact record’s “related” section under Mailchimp > Audience > View Activity (see status related screenshot). Is this the only way to see this information, or is it possible to see this in the custom fields that I made and mapped? It would be nice to filter by Mailchimp rankings, clicks, etc. Thanks for any help you can offer.
When I go to the Billing & Upgrade section on my account, I am unable to make any changes. How can I get around this error, or get it fixed so that we are able to make changes to our subscription?
On https://developer.copper.com/introduction/authentication.html it reads:To generate an API token, in the Copper web app go to System settings > API Keys and click the 'GENERATE API KEY' button. I don’t have anything called “System settings” in my web app - how do I generate an API key?
When viewing the prospects pipeline, is there a way to have the scheduled appointment time under the contact, without clicking into the contact and viewing calendar event in the “related tab”? I want to be able to view everyone in the prospect pipeline and see their appointment. Even if we need to manually enter the date of the scheduled appointment that is fine, just not sure how to get it to show up.
Is it possible to insert an image inside an email template? We’re wanting to send out a bulk email to clients to thank them for the year and I’d like to include a banner image that we’ve created. I can see that I can attach a document/image but I haven’t been able to insert one into the body of an email template yet? Anyone have any suggestions or workarounds? Thanks!
Hello, I am looking to have a filter in my opportunity pipelines that can drill down by “Contact Type.” Example: I want to create a custom filter in a pipeline that only shows customers.The contact type is auto-updated to a customer when an opportunity is won so the intuitive work around would be to create a filter with “Won” status.However, in our business once a customer is signed up, they may not necessarily purchase from us in the future, so technically they remain a customer (they are setup with us), but opportunities are being won and lost through out the year depending on markets.I’d like to have a view in opportunities, that simply shows contact types with “Customer” regardless of the opportunity status. Is there a work around or other filter I can use as a work around?
Chrome extension is working (on the right) but today it no longer shows icon to set "related to" - the window on the right is working, only the icon on the email header is no longer present. I reinstalled extension but problem remains.
Is there a way to delete the default data fields for a record? I have created all of the custom fields I need, and just drop the default ones to the bottom so they do not clutter the field section, however I would like to delete them. Also, I would like to change the default fields that appear in the header on the board view. Is there a way to change these fields?Thank you!
We recently changed our company email addresses with the old address forwarding to the new one. We are having issues with the copper integration into gmail due to this change. How can we edit our company email addresses? When I go to the individual profiles, including my own, the email address is blocked from editing.Thank you for the assistance!
Hi there,Is there a way to have the Contact Type field in the Company table automatically from Potential Customer to Current Customer and reverse that going from Current Customer to Past Customer when an Opportunity is lost. It’s not something Copper users are incentivised to do, and there’s no onus on them to do it, so it would help keep the data live and might make Copper more useful to us. Ideally it would be functionality that could be turned on or off depending on business requirementsThanks

I used to recall my templates saved into Copper when I send emails form my Gmail.There was a pink-orange button beside the SEND button on Gmail.In the bottom of this tutorial (see Apply an email template in Gmail) is explained very well:https://support.copper.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003592686-Create-edit-and-apply-Email-Templates#:~:text=Make%20sure%20the%20Chrome%20Extension,email%20templates%20to%20choose%20from. However now that pink-orange button suddenly disappeared and I cannot recall my templates anymore. I am using Chrome and I’ve already re-installed the Copper Chrome extension, but problem is still there. Please it’s urgent. Thank you
