Inactive user history data

I have members of the team leave the company and I usually re-assign their account available to a new member, but I would like to keep the data from the ex.member separately for data analysis.

Is there a way to do this?

Hi @Juan Fernando, great question. It depends on whether you are talking about data stored in the detail fields (e.g. phone number, email address, title) or data stored as an activity (e.g. emails, phone calls).

For data stored in fields, you would not be able to split this out for the ex-member because there is no way to differentiate who entered that data.

In contrast, activity data is attached to a specific user. So you can separate the activities logged by that ex-member and analyze them separately. The easiest way to do this is to open a company, opportunity, or contact’s activity feed and select whose activities you want to see.


If you want to see a higher-level breakdown, you can use the Activity Report inside of the Legacy Reports section.
