Workflow formula - Unsupported Variable

Hello!  I am trying to concat the address fields into a single field (City, State, Country).  When I try to add any of the address fields into Use Formula function, I get an error.  Any thoughts on if I am able to leverage these fields?

Is there a way to apply simultaneous attribute filters as ORs instead of ANDs?

I am trying to filter one of our custom reports by Source (across both lead and opportunity records), but I’m having a hard time capturing the data I’m looking for. The source field is not always updated on the lead record, sometimes it’s not changed until the record becomes an opportunity, so I can’t only use the Lead Source filter. If the source was updated on the lead record, it’s not updated again on the opportunity record, so I can’t use just the Opp Source filter. If I use the Lead Source and Opp Source filters together, it looks for a record that was updated as a lead AND updated as an opportunity record, which returns few or no results. Is it possible to apply attribute filters using OR logic?: Lead Source = Referral OR Opp Source = Referral

Primary Contact on Account

I saw the article on how to change the primary contact on a company record, which essentially involves removing all the contacts until the primary is listed first.  Is there any other way to accomplish this, such as a field somewhere on the Company record.  Because this email is used to leverage bulk email send functionality, it makes updating large numbers of accounts quite difficult and time consuming.  Are there other ways to target different fields/contacts in the bulk email functionality at the Company level?Thanks!

Move from companies to leads

Hi Copper Team, Is there any possibility to push back from the company to lead? What we did before do it manually, going through to the company deleting them, and creating new leads. But it takes time. So would be nice if there is any option we can do it easier and faster. Thank you

Workflow automation: Quarterly Business Reviews

I’m trying to create a workflow that scans either opportunities or companies won date/start date and creates a $0 opportunity in a Quarterly Business Review pipeline. The opportunity should be created about 60-90 days since the customer started so the CSMs can manage and complete the QBR. I’m having some trouble formatting this workflow automation - any suggestions?

Commission Automation

I followed the instructions for the commission calculator in Workflow Automations, adjusting it to my own needs, when I put in the formula used, I changed “Commission Rate” to “Revenue Split” since that is the name of the field I have (Field key = Rev_Split) but...it came back with an error titledUnsupported Variable: [‘monetary_value’] What is monetary_value supposed to be representing in this workflow recipe? I don’t see it mentioned anywhere else in the doc: “Example Workflow Automation: calculating commision” The point of this automation is to make “Prep Revenue” = 50% of “Contract Price”50% is represented by “Revenue Split”Attached are screenshots of the error when entered as-is in the Copper Example, and the error when I changed “monetary_value” to “Contract_Price”TIA for your help!

Unable to create report

I’ve been asked to create a report showcasing the number of leads and number of opportunities created over a certain period of time, grouped by owner. However, when I went to the Reports tab in Copper, there was nothing but a ‘That didn't go according to plan. Failed to initialize user.’ message. The option to create a Dashboard was also missing.

Reverse moving a Lead to Pipeline

I have accidently converted a couple of Leads into my Pipeline. This was an error and I need to move them back into Leads. Is there an easy way to do this? Or do I need to delete from the Pipeline and re-enter as Lead?

Mailchimp Integration [NEW] - syncing/adding certain contacts

It seems like the new Mailchimp Integration is automatically adding any new contacts to one of our Mailchimp audiences, compared to the “Legacy” version which allowed us to select whether a new contact would be added and to which audiences. If I would like to be able to manually select which contacts are added, or if there is a way that I could set a rule for adding contacts based on rules/filters like their “Role,” how could I do this?

Does Projects object has a limit of counts?

Projects API requst - https://developer.copper.com/projects/list-projects-search.html, has a limit of 100_000 records that it could return without any errorsPlease note that search requests are limited to returning only the first 100,000 records regardless of the pagination parameters. If your search filter matches more than 100,000 records, we recommend modifying your search filter to separate your result set.it’s not a reliable system, so I am wondering if there some limit of Projects objects count on Copper, e.g. if there is a limit of 20_000 Projects records then it’s ok to use request that returns a maximum of 100_000 records

Automation - Moving an Opportunity in one Pipeline to 'Won' when a new Opportunity is created in another.

We have a recruitment pipeline that records interested sign-ups and manages the follow-up email process for our US Coordinator. We have a two separate pipelines that create Opportunities when a prospective student completes an application form, allowing their application process to be managed by our Admissions Coordinator.I am looking for a recipe for an automation so that when the student applies, and an Admissions Opportunity is created, the Opportunity in the Recruitment Pipeline connected with the same Primary Contact is automatically moved to 'Won’ status.

How to Add Google Cal Event into Copper from Alias Email

I have an alias email where clients send an email request to and I get it to my work email. I answer from my work email but events are scheduled through the alias email google cal. The google cal is shared with my work email as well. My work email is the one linked to Copper. Can I add the google cal events into clients logs in Copper? I see I can create a reminder, but I want to show that the event is booked in their opportunity.  Please let me know, thanks!

Adding a Person to Company records via Field On

Considering Opportunities list both have a contact and company as field on records, and are listed in the Related Section for Opportunities, should it not be possible to add a contact, and/or company to the Company record.For example, if I create an Opportunity it requires a primary contact as a field on record and has Company as a an optional field on record.If I create a Company there is no field that I can add a Primary Contact to, and when viewing Companies, you are not able to see “Contacts” in the related section either. In addition:Considering the Company is now considered the “Parent” record,Does it make sense if I update the Company that it then updates child records (related records) to match, or have the option to automate this?Example, - If on the Company record and I change Contact Type from  Potential Client → Active Client this then will trigger the action to update the Contact Type for related Contacts to “Active Client” (matching the Company contact type) Same goes for

I am trying to sync my Copper account to my LinkedIn account and all of the links say to go to Settings >Integrations>API Keys.  I cannot find the Integrations tab in my Copper account.  Is there another way to sync up my Copper to my LinkedIn?

Emails not visible in Copper

Hi, I have the issue that my email conversations are not visible for neither me nor my team in Copper. This is the case for a few days now but before that it usually always worked. My email visibility is set to visible by default, so that is not the issue. Hope someone has an idea!

Copper API Activities vs Interaction Count

Good evening. I am doing some work with the Copper API, trying to extract data to allow us to show the interactions related to each Person and Opportunity over time. This is the data that is accessed via the Activities endpoint. The main problem I am having is that when I query “all activities related to a person” the number of items returned is a lot lower than the number of interactions reported against that person in Copper. Has somebody come across this before? I am wondering whether it is a permissions issue and the interactions (mainly emails) are not being reported correctly. Thanks! Andrew

Missing user Ids in activities

The Copper iPhone app, what's it good for?

Hi. I’m new to Copper following a long search for a CRM that fits our business.Having settled in with the desktop app I moved on to the iPhone app and I’m struggling to find much utility in it -- how does everyone use it? - what am I missing?For example, there is no Gmail mobile app add-on for Copper (unlike Pipedrive and others) so if a new potential customer emails me with an opportunity I’ve got to wait till I get back to the office before I can process it in Copper.How do you folks handle this? It’s a bit of a show stopper and I’d really appreciate some guidance. Considering Copper is supposed to be the premier Gmail-aligned I’m amazed and disappointed that it can’t talk to the Gmail iPhone app.

Copper for Gmail mobile

I’m in sales and need to add a Copper extension to my gmail, so from my mobile, I can relate and add emails to accounts. I spoke with support and they said they don’t have an extension yet from Copper on Gmail/mobile which makes NO sense to me,When I’m in the field and check my email, I need to be able to disposition those emails and connect them as I’m on the go. Yes, I have the extension on my desktop, but that just creates more work if I have to log into desktop at end of day to sort and connect emails while on the go.Anybody else run into this roadblock?
