Opportunities - Board View - edit opportunity card fields

We would like to use opportunities for our product development pipelines.Is there any chance that you can include all fields in the ‘edit opportunity card fields’ drop down menu?We would like to show custom field content on the opportunity cards to help us see at one glance what the next step for that project is and when it should be finished.

read-only field

I would like to make a custom field that is read-only with respect to the web interface.This field is driven by another system i have integrated with (in this case Mautic or Stripe).Its confusing for the end-user to think they can modify the value, when its entirely owned by another system and just here for e.g. user segmentation etc. How can I achieve this?

Activity Export Job finishes before all activity is exported

I’ve tried multiple times to export our activities for companies and people and I can never get a full list of activities. It always cuts off very early on in my list of companies/people. For example the list of companies goes from A-Z and the activities ends at companies beginning in C. I see in the article https://support.copper.com/en/articles/8823410-google-sheet-add-on-how-to-export-activities it says you may need to run the job multiple times, but I get an error saying the sheet name already exists when I try to run it again, and if I change the sheet name, the export starts from the beginning (A) and doesn’t export fully again. How do I run the export job multiple times to get a full list of user activities per company?

broken countries in address, how to workaround?

I have a customer in Northern Ireland. This is in the UK (not Great Britain).When i set their address as “United Kingdom”, it silenly translates it in the database to “GB”.When i read it back from the API, it is GB (wrong place). The web front end shows United Kingdom for some reason.This is breaking my integration to my marketing automation tool since it constantly thinks the address is wrong and needs reconcile (e.g. I set A, the read back is B).What is going on here?How can i work around this?

I currently have a zapier set up to transfer my Copper tasks over to Clickup. My question is: does anyone know if it is possible to get zapier to communicate to Copper when the task is marked complete in ClickUp? If so, how is this done?

Google contacts only partially syncing

Hello everyone, I signed up for Copper today. I had issues importing my Google contacts. I've tried reverting and syncing several times w/o success. Now, when I try to sync my Google contacts, less than 1/3 of them are syncing to Copper, and I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Task Automation Trigger Type

Hello, I just created the following task automation:Object: Opportunity Trigger: Status is Open and Close Date is within 30 days Purpose: Prompt user to confirm/update Close Date Desired Behavior: Automation triggers each time close date comes within 30 days. (Example: User updated Close Date last time the workflow was initiated. Now Close Date has once again fallen within 30 days, thus another task is created for the same Opportunity.)Having reviewed your task automation documentation, I am unable to determine whether task automations trigger only once, or each time the event occurs. Can you provide insight into this? Thank you.

merge people with read-only status fields

I have added 3 read only status fields which are set by the api, reflecting state in our marketing automation tool (e.g. bounced).Now I cannot merge people since these are unsettable by the team.THe goal is to have these only set by automation, on merge they should be ignored.how can we workaround this bug?

activity versus attempt

We have 2 ‘attempts to communicate’ activities:email (we send them, they may or may not have read) voice mailthese are not set as ‘interactions’, since they are not.for purposes of knowing when to try again, we need a date column of last attempt.we have ‘last contacted’, but its only set for interactions.we have these date fields, but none apply  "date_created": 1680292261,  "date_modified": 1709136005,  "date_last_contacted": null,  "date_lead_created": nullI have read the below.How may i achieve this goal please? its very painful trying to maintain this separately on post it notes.

Looking for simple set up help.

Hi, new to Copper. I’m not overly tech savvy and I don’t have much time so I’d love to find someone that could help us set up all integrations and some flows and basic structure in Copper.  Please email me if interested: jasonz@hydrusboardtech.com   We use Klaviyo, PostScript, Gmail with Drive, Superhuman (I do for email), Motion for apt. scheduling (or calendly if easier to set up). Shopify for all orders, current customer database.  Hydrus Board Tech is a premium paddle and surfboard manufacturer.  We are known for great customer service.  We’d like Copper along with the other integrations to help us support customers, mainly our VIP customers plus wholesale sales to stores.

Live Chat Customer Service Issues

Hello Copper Community! We’re currently trialing Copper’s Professional Plan and I’m just wondering what current customers think about the system and service provided? Although we’re pretty happy with the features, I’ve been trying to speak to someone at Copper about a glitch with data being imported that adds the timecode 1st January 1970 1am instead of the correct date. I keep hitting a brick wall where my chat says it’s being routed to a member of the team but instead it get’s closed within a day or so. This has happened twice now and I imagine their outsourced VAs over at eFlexservices are probably not managing the inbound enquiries that well. Does anybody have an insight for me so we can make an informed decision on whether to invest in Copper or go elsewhere?

Google Sheets Extension from Reports

I’ve played with the Sheets extension and see it’s abilities are pretty limited as far as search criteria needing to fall under People, Companies, Leads, Opportunities, Projects or Tasks.  While this does allow us to generate some useful data, it doesn’t allow us to run some of the key reports we like to see in the morning that are more Activity driven.   If Copper can export to Google sheets, it seems the scope is only being narrowed by the extension’s criteria.  Are we working toward the ability to export all Reports from Copper to Sheets?  We’ve created the reports we like to see every morning, but we have to transfer that data manually into a spreadsheet. For what it’s worth, as a sales manager, I think it’s really helpful to show salespeople how activity counts translate to sales.  This is why we focus a lot on activity reporting.

Managing contacts when importing people assigned under a company

Hello!I am new to Copper and I am just starting the process of importing data into the system. What I would like to know is how to assign a person as the Primary contact under Companies. For instance, when I import the data, I want the Designated Representative (a field I created) to always be the Primary Contact for an organization. Is there a way to do this? When I am importing people for a company, it seems to randomly assign the Primary and that is not how I want it to appear in the system. Please see image below as a reference: Thank you!

Bulk edit

I have a Custom Field under People for Customer Type (i.e. US - West; US - East, etc.). I bulk edited ALL contacts, to change an unrelated field - but seem to have lost my Customer Type (revereted to blank). When I bulk edit, do I have to always re-select all the fields (i.e. Customer Type) - even if not changing that field?

Mailchimp status

Have a few questions:I set-up the Mailchimp 2-way sync with Copper by following the video from Michelle. I added the text field for status (as in the video), but the status does not appear (i.e. subscribed or unsubscribed) in Copper. The field appears, but the status remains blank for all contacts. The sync seems to be workign otherwise I set-up a Google 1-way sync, so when I add contacts in Copper they appear in Google Contacts. However, I added a new People record to test, but the People record does not appear in Google Contacts (nor in the Copper folder on Google contacts or anywhere in Google contacts). Do I need to do somethign else to push this People record to Google Contacts?Thank you

Pushing form data into Copper

Hello everyone.  I see there is automation around form data thru Zapier, but is there a simper way to push data into Copper without having to use yet another resource? We built our own form on the website and can push the data anywhere.  Is there an automation available where we can push this data to Copper and then have it automatically create a lead (or compare for an existing contact via email address)?

I accidentally related an email to someone after my drop down menu lagged in my gmail email extension, how do you remove or unrelate someone so this email thread isn’t popping up to someone it doesn’t belong too?

mark field as prerequisite to Pipeline / Opportunity being marked WON

We would like to mark fields as prerequisites in the Pipeline / Opportunity for being marked WON and subsequent Project created. I’ve tried making the desired fields as REQUIRED in Projects and Not Required in Pipelines but that option was not allowed when attempted in the field settings.

Gmail & Cooper not sync

Hello everyone!The e-mails I'm sending through Copper are not being visible at the Send box at my Gmail. I've been sending several emails through Cooper and I can't find the problem why those emails do not exist in the Send folder. I’ve checked the Sync check box at Cooper and everything is okay. What should I do?
