What data/actions are the “Last Contacted” column header based on?

One of my colleagues recently emailed a Contact that is associated with an Opportunity card, but the “Last Contacted” date still shows a date from 2020. This impacts the ability to order Opportunities accurately in the “List View”.

Also, I cannot view her email in the Activity Feed associated with that Contact (it doesn’t even appear as “Locked”).

 

Help/advice would be much appreciated!

Hi @samrm, great question. Actually, it seems like there’s really two questions.

 

What contributes towards a Last Contacted date?

The “Last Contacted” date is based on the last time our system logged an Activity that counts as an Interaction.

Which Activities count as an Interaction?

  • Emails
  • Calendar Events
  • Any Activity Type that has a check under “Count as interaction” - you can look at your settings through Settings > Customize > Manage Activity Types

 

 

Why is the wrong Last Contacted date showing?

The first thing I check is whether there’s something up with either you or your colleague’s Google sync. Yours looks to be working. I can check your colleague’s if you can tell me who that is (either PM me with their email or include their initials in your reply).

If it’s not a sync thing then we’ll have to investigate further.
