Hello! Is there a known issue with the android version of the app, whereby when another user is tagged followed by a written sentence, after a certain number of words the tag “deactivates” and reverts to standard text.e.g. @JohnSmith one two three four five sixBecomes:John Smith one two three four five sixThis is really frustrating.Ed
In other CRM tools I've used I was able to @ tag a coworker when uploading a photo or file. I am surprised this is not part of Copper. We are a food manufacturer and we frequently go out to stores to check placement or pricing. I take pictures and upload to the Company in Copper and make notes. As it works now, Copper requires me to create a separate Note to notify a coworker of the new photo, instead of letting me @ tag them as part of the upload. Can this option be added as part of uploading a file?
I am looking to archive a contact so that she does not receive a bulk email send by accident. I want to leave all of her information intact, but I don’t see how to do that without her being grouped into an email send by accident. For now, I removed her email from the email field and made a note of it in the “create note” field so that I would not lose that information. I don’t want to delete her either, because I would lose all past communications. I just want to archive her so that she does not receive any more communication from us. Any ideas on how to make this happen? Creating a customer filter really doesn’t do the job since everyone has an email, I can’t filter her out and leave her email in place at the same time.
If you have used the Google Contacts 1-way Sync please join this conversation! I would love to get your feedback. I have been using it and it seems really unstable. It took over a week for 4000 contacts to be synced from Copper to my Google Contacts. Even after that small changes (updating a phone number) took days, which renders it effectively useless. The data also does not seem to match from one to the other platform. I have asked Copper about but they dont seem to have much info as to why the sync is so slow and unpredictable. I did get the response that Copper cant predict what its servers are doing on any given day so they cant predict the sync timing - which is concerning bc then there is no way to know when anything will sync. This is obviously an issue for retaining Copper as your SSOT for contacts, which logically it should be so you arent trying to maintain dual contact databases. As Google business users the integration of Copper contacts seamlessly with Google Contacts was
Hi Team, I am hearing from a lot of people that Projects will be removed for new and old Copper accounts. We have a lot of clients and automation that are using this feature. We wanted to know your plans for this change? Will there be a new module to replace this? Thanks-- Mervin
Hi All,I’m wondering if there might be a way to limit visibility of specific files attached to contact records? I’m asking because our team uses Copper in fundraising and we often have to have confidential conversations with our funders and our practice in the past has been to create a memo of our conversations. We prefer to have our team members have access to most emails, but certain things are not fit for all eyes. Or, is there another way you might suggest we manage this? Thank you!
When I send email it’s extremely convenient the “My Tracked Emails” page as I can see if and when my email was opened. However, if I send it to multiple recipients, I cannot distinguish who did open it and who didn’t.How to fix this issue? In this example below is that I actually see when I’ve sent my email to 3 recipients (1 + 2 CC): Viewed by someone on Today at 2:16 PMViewed by someone on Today at 2:16 PMViewed by someone on Today at 2:16 PMViewed by someone on Today at 2:16 PM I which to know who that “someone” is.Thanks
Hi, we have had erroneous duplicates introduced to our data system over the past three years through our own doing. However, we have spent some time on several occasions, most recently in June, to remove these duplicates through deletion or merging, where applicable. Recently, our database numbers have jumped back up again and we have noticed that many duplicates have returned. Can you assist us with identifying the reason for this issue and preventing it in the future? Is there a faster way to merge/delete duplicate records?
Is it possible to set up a user with their company Gmail address (firstname.lastname@example.org) but also have a group email (legal@ or sales@) that person is a part of so all activity shows for companies for tracking? This is especially important/helpful when our legal team is corresponding with customers during contracting. Sales hands off the customer and so all of legal sees emails, the correspondence is sent from the group email, however the legal team have individual user accounts in Copper.OR Sales manager (email@example.com) and sales team (firstname.lastname@example.org) - would want both emails to track for the customer in Copper.
Hello, anyone aware of a way we can send a bulk email from inside the Organization?Currently I have to open the Organization and type each contact under the Organization. Is there a Bulk email to everyone within in an organization? This would save some serious minutes! Thank you
I have created two different saved filters for an opportunities pipeline. I would like to configure the columns for these filtered lists differently (i.e. have different columns showing in each case). However, when I changed the configuration of one filter, Copper automatically changed the configuration for the second filter. Is there a way to configure the filtered lists differently?
