Copper assigning contacts to companies based on email domains. Can I disable this?
When I receive a google voice text message. I am sent an email in the format <email@example.com>. I add this as a secondary email address so that these conversations are linked to my contact in Copper. Unfortunately, Copper gets confused by <@txt.voice.google.com> and tries to assign all of my contacts to the same company. Anyway to fix this?
Replying IN EMAIL when @mentioned
It is wonderful that we are emailed when we are @mentioned by a team member within a contact entry in Copper. It offers us the ability to reply in email without opening Copper which is fantastic and it inputs the response right into the thread in Copper! The PROBLEM is that is doesn’t notify the person (my team member) who I am responding to. In email, it doesn’t allow you to @mention. Why wouldn’t the response be automatically emailed to the person you are responding to?
Copper Search Engine
I have noticed that Copper search engine had some problem identifying similar patterns when I search some terms that are identically the same. For example when I search the word GO SHOP It throw me some results, but when I do with the term without capital letters It throws other results. What I expect to happen is that those differents term could give me the same number of results. The big problem is that when I write the terms the algorythm decide which to show me. When people in the company I work creates oportunities, they don´t find the original company and creat several times de same company with the same fields.
Segmentation For Marketing/Nurturing Process
Hello All,I was wondering what my fellow Copper users are currently doing to best segment their customers for marketing and email nurturing purposes inside the Copper platform? I’m not a marketing or technical guru, but we’re struggling with best practices and efficiency of how to do this. Please bear with my ramblings. We currently utilize Mailchimp and will be connecting that to Copper and Outfunnel. This should allow us to segment with greater detail, but are there any other good ways to do so directly inside of Copper, so it’s more of a native approach? Outside of “tagging”, it seems as though Copper has limited means of segmentation.Example: At the COMPANY level, we define markets such as Power, Industrial, Municipal, etc.. We do not carry these market fields to the PERSON level, as that’s duplicated work. Conceptually, we most often send our marketing campaigns via segmented markets, which without using Mailchimp and Outfunnel, would be impossible to do inside the Copper
Won, but still Open?
Is it possible to mark an Opportunity WON, but still have it OPEN? We like the thrill of marking these project as a winners when we land a deal, but would still like to easily keep them and their budgets in our pipeline until we actually get paid. I tried sorting with status as open and won, but that just gives me all opportunities that have either of these statuses. I guess I could also sort by dates, but this has the potential to miss something or bring in unwanted financial data. Thanks for your help.
How do I allow other users to see my emails?
My emails are syncing and I can see them in the activities on people, opportunities, etc. But my colleagues can’t actually see what I sent - they’re only seeing who the emails were sent to and at what time. How can I allow other users to see my email contents?
