Chrome Issue with Copper

From the Home Screen when I click on the Pipelines Tab I get nothing.  Try opening in another tab and nothing but blank screen.  When I open this in Firefox it works.  When I open this up on another computer it works so its a local browser problem that I can’t figure out how to fix. Help Please

Sending email

Although the “Send & Reply from Copper” is ON, I am not seeing a “Send Email” option above the Activity Log when in a person’s record on my desktop. When I pull up a person’s record, how can I quickly compose & send an email from within Copper?

Duplicate Lead Detection

I don’t see a way that Copper handles duplicate leads from an import. If I import a file 1 with a bunch of leads, then file 2 with more leads and there’s some overlap, it seems I get duplicate leads. Is there a way to eliminate these duplicates? I would think there’s a way they could be auto-caught and merged or something.

Catching invoice emails from Quickbooks

Quickbooks sends out invoice payment reminders to company contact within Copper. Is there a way to have these emails save into the companies in Copper for quick reference? -Andy

Is the old prosperworks gmail addon going to be fixed?

Just signed up and wanted to install the add on so users can access info from the crm in their gmail app on mobile but it seems this hasn’t be working for 6 months at least. I understand the chrome extension is the better option, but this add-on has good value to users. I just want to know how high this is on Copper’s radar.My error message: Error retrieving token: 404: {"errors":[{"status":404,"title":"Resource not found","detail":"No such api endpoint"}],"granted_time":1644352784} (line 423, file "Service", project "OAuth2")

Filter Inbox Removed - PLEASE BRING BACK

We learned from Copper tech support today that a much used feature has been removed from the Copper Chrome extension for Gmail - the “Filter Inbox” tool. It’s featured in this Copper video: https://support.copper.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000177812-Chrome-Extension-using-Copper-from-your-Gmail-inboxWhy was this feature removed and can you please re-activate it?Here’s the Copper tech support response (not very helpful!!!):"Filter Inbox" was taken away. Here's the explanation "Upon checking here, our product team already removed this feature to minimize the scope of an infrastructure upgrade they're needing to do. I recommend posting this to our community page or posting this as a feature request here. We don't have any information yet if it will be added back again."

Preventing Copper from relating Gmail marked confidential

Hello-- I’m a new user.Is it possible to prevent certain email and events from being related to a People, Company or Opportunity in Copper? I am seeing a lot of emails for a company that I believe are meant to be confidential. Before I present this concern to my COO, I would like to understand why this is happening and if there is a way to prevent it. Thank you.

Issues surrounding the Primary Contact for an Opportunity

So, we have a pipeline which tracks a course at our college through an ‘academic pipeline’. The Course is an Opportunity Record, The Tutor for that Course is the Primary Contact, and then the students on that Course are Related Person Records.Two issues have come up:We have Courses that are co-taught, and so ideally would have two Primary Contacts. Some of our organisation’s staff (including myself) also act as Tutors on Courses, but we do not appear as Person Records, and so can’t be added as Primary Contacts.Does anyone have any suggestions as to how we might resolve these issues?

Team Visibility Settings Issues

Copper does not allow regular users, (i.e. non-system admins such as junior sales reps), to mass upload a CSV. list of prospects. This feature is only available to system admins. Non-system admins also cannot access the “new” reports feature, so they have no access to their activity logs, meetings booked, etc. The only available option is to either make junior reps system admins (giving junior reps full access and the potential of accounts being deleted, or altered, etc.) OR to limit their ability to only view accounts that they are the Owner for.  The second option to limit their ability is also a terrible solution because they won’t be able to see if an Account is already in the system, or if the account is under someone else’s ownership. This limitation will result in duplicate accounts being added to the system along with other issues. How is one supposed to cross-reference anything. What is the point of the “teams & visibility” settings? As of right now, it’s either I make all

Why don't some email addresses show up in list view?

I went to send a bulk email of archived opportunities, and some of the primary contact’s email addresses were not showing up in the list view...but when I checked their profile page, their email does show up… I need these emails to go out, but will they? Thanks!!

Filter - Min & Max

How do I select a price range on Copper? I  want to select buyer from R3 mil to R5 mil, however each option (min and max) has a min and max amount, how does this work, I have tried everything and it keeps pulling up the incorrect buyer pool.

Why aren't Copper reports unavailable via iPad Safari Browser or Chrome Browser?

I can never access Copper Reports on the Desktop mode of the browser either using Safari or Chrome. Why? Below is a screenshot of the message I get. I’d love not having to go to my workstation to see how our team is performing.

Importing new AND current People records

I recently attended a conference and wish to upload the attendee list to our database. The attendee list, which is in CSV format, has each individual’s name, company name, and position title. It does not include their emails. Some of the individuals are in our database, others are not. What is the most efficient way to:Import the records I have in the spreadsheet/update existing records in Copper without creating duplicates, especially considering that I do not have emails associated with each record in the spreadsheet? Tag all of the individuals on the spreadsheet without overwriting their existing tags?I believe this would require identifying who is currently in our database, exporting that list, and cross-checking the exported records with the CSV spreadsheet, but that seems rather cumbersome. What is the best way to go about doing this?Thank you.

Creating a product and a price

Hi Copper, can I create a list of products and associate a price to each product in my Opportunities? My business is structured so that I have a series of base packages, for example:  Premium - 100 eurosElite - 500 eurosExclusive- 1000 eurosIn addition, I have a number of additional “options” that can be added to the product packages and that also have an associated cost, for example:Private label - 50 euros Personalized wine corks - 25 eurs Personalized wood cases - 75 eurosWhen I create an opportunity, I would like to be able to select the base package and have the associated price show up in the opportunity “value”. And if I add options, that those additional prices get added to the total value.Is this possible, and if so, how do I go about setting this up? I’ve used other CRM systems in the past where it was possible to create a product and the associated price, but I don’t seem to find this on Copper, which complicates our sales reports and reducing errors related to manual inputt

I recently uploaded a list of prospects and they are uncategorized in the record. I have categories like Potential Customer, Current Customer, etc. I’d like to categorize them all as potential customers without having to go through each record one by one.

Adding a file using Link to Google Drive

HELP!!!!My Copper Account was set up for me in my new job and I was able to add files by linking to Google Drive. I updated some of my Google account settings on my phone to be able to utilize Copper on my phone but I still couldn’t use Copper on my phone to upload from Google Drive. I can’t remember which settings were updated but now I can’t upload files by linking to Google Drive. I can upload documents by using upload from my computer but I would rather Link to Google Drive.Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Erik

Default lead status - NEW

I can filter on leads by create-date.I have leads that are set to status = NEW … and have been for many months.It seems NEW is not very meaningful.  Is there a strong reason I am missing to have a status = NEW, versus defaulting all new creates to UNQUALIFIED?Is it possible to mask/hide a default status?Thanks in advance for any insights!

Projects - Customize columns headers

Why can’t we add columns in the project section that are related to custom fields? We can’t do the same thing than with the People, companies or opoprtunities. Please advise? Somehow, we can only select a few built-in columns. Thanks for your help
