imbedded links in custom field

Is it possible to maintain hyperlinks in a textbox custom field? As an example, my organization has a textbox for consultant bios on their People record and would like to include hyperlinks to consultant’s LinkedIn within that textbox.

Hi @RebeccaB, the text in a text field or area doesn’t have any formatting, meaning we can’t maintain hyperlinks within them. As a workaround, you could create a separate custom URL field. But it would live in a separate box from the consultant bio.

If this is an important feature for you I encourage you to post it as an Idea for our product team to take a look. :)
