Actually I found a hack/solution.
If you draft the email in a Google Doc and include the image in the body of the Google Doc, you can copy the draft email and image — and then paste it into the Copper Email Template, the image will be included in the template.
It’s a great workaround in the meantime!

I’m working with our product team to see if there are any drawbacks/limitations on that method. If not, we might be able to include it in our help docs as a workaround until we get a dedicated upload button in the UI.
