Hi Team,

Is it possible to create tasks for multiple clients at the same time or import tasks into Copper?

Thanks for the question, @Bich Ngoc

The best way to create tasks for multiple clients at the same time would be through Copper’s Workflow Automation utility. After setting up a Workflow Automation for task creation, you no longer have to worry about manually setting up tasks for a specific use case. We have a number of different recipes  for reference, and in addition, we host a LIVE weekly Workflow Automation webinar each Tuesday at 9 am PST.

It is also possible to import tasks into Copper via our Custom Report Builder add-on. We offer a templated spreadsheet which provides the guidance needed to ensure you include all relevant fields/information. You are also able to assign the task to a user who exists in your Copper account during the import process.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

I can not import tasks. Now, we don’t work on Leads and projects.

Hi @Bich Ngoc - thanks for mentioning this.

You do not need to use Leads or Projects in Copper in order to import Tasks. You do, however, need to create a tab on the import sheet for each record type: “Companies”, “Opportunities”, “People”, “Leads” and “Projects”. These tabs can be empty, but they need to be created in order for the Task import to succeed.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Stil have errors :joy:

Exception: Request failed for https://api.prosperworks.com returned code 422. Truncated server response: {"success":false,"status":422,"message":"Invalid input: Validation errors: Related Resource: Invalid value for Id: IDs must be positive integers: B... @Bich Ngoc it sounds like the Related ID being used doesn't exist within Copper. Can you verify that the company ID exists of 50627206 in your CRM?

You can do that by clicking on any company within the CRM, and then in the URL bar replacing the last ID with the one in the sheet or above.

If it doesn't exist, then the error makes sense. If it does exist though, definitely reach out to support!

Cheers!

It does exist in CRM. I checked with the others, same error.

Thanks.
