This week we’re celebrating Thanksgiving in the US, and it got us thinking about all we’re thankful for, especially our amazing customers.

Every day, we're so excited to help you manage and grow your business, and we thank you for choosing Copper as your CRM solution.

In celebration of this week’s holiday and as we approach the end of the year, we’d like to take a moment to recognize some of our customers doing amazing things in the world.

Earlier this year, we reintroduced the Copper inspiration series to share our love for our customers doing good in the world, enacting positive change or otherwise brightening people’s days.

Here are our most recent customer features:

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is on a mission to inspire the love of reading in young children around the world 📚💕 Led by its iconic creator, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has been gifting books to young readers since 1995. The program started in Dolly’s home state of Tennessee and later expanded nationally, to Canada, the UK, Australia and the Republic of Ireland.

Dolly’s vision to help foster a lifelong love of reading from a young age prepares children for school and inspires them to dream. Working with local community partners, the organization mails hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality books each month to registered children ages 0-5.

Over 1 million free books are mailed monthly! And as of September 2021, the Imagination Library has gifted over 167 million books 🙌 If your community doesn’t yet offer this early childhood literacy program, visit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library website to get involved.

Visible Hands

Visible Hands is dedicated to increasing diversity in VC funding 👏 Founded on the belief that inclusion improves innovation, this VC firm strives to narrow the VC funding gap by helping create hundreds of companies led by underrepresented founders. Because “high-growth entrepreneurship should not be reserved for the privileged few.” We couldn’t agree more.

“We are deeply passionate about diversifying the tech ecosystem,” says Yasmin Cruz Ferrine.  Co-Founders and General Partners Yasmin Cruz Ferrine, Daniel Acheampong, and Justin Kang are fulfilling their mission one founder at a time. They offer a 14-week full-time fellowship program that supports underrepresented talent in building tech startups by providing company-building services and investments of up to $200K. Visit their website to nominate a fellow or get involved by joining their ecosystem.

Starfish Project

Encouraging their customers to "Wear Hope, Give Hope,” Starfish Project employs formerly trafficked women to empower them with agency so they can establish independence and develop careers through the jewelry business. The company’s name is based on the Starfish on the Beach parable, which is all about making a difference one person (or starfish) at a time.

Founded in 2006, Starfish Project is a 501-C3 that has employed and trained over 160 women so far — and served thousands more through their community outreach. And not to mention, their jewelry is gorgeous, too. We’re honored to help support their mission. If you’d like to lend your support, they welcome you to shop their jewelry or donate to fund their Holistic Care and Vocational Training programs.

Instinct Dog Behaviour and Training

Instinct Dog Behavior and Training 🐕 offers help and hope for every dog and owner.

Starting out as a small, home-based business in New York, co-founders Sarah Fraser and Brian Burton launched Instinct Dog Training on the principle that dogs are family. Their teams use a powerful combination of canine behavioral health science and collaborative coaching strategies to help humans and dogs live happier lives together, building a “Kinder World for Dogs and Humans.” Visit their website to learn more.

We are excited to see what awesome and impactful things our customers get up to in the new year!

If you’re a Copper customer and would like to share your story of enacting positive change in the world, direct message me from here

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the US!
