Email visibility / privacy

Hi all!My team and I are struggling with the “Individual Email Visibility Control” setting. Either all emails are public, which we definitely don't want because that means I could see all emails to and from my colleagues, including internal and private emails. Or all emails are private, which is what we have now, but that means opening every email to and from (potential) customers manually, and there are dozens of them every day. Is there a solution for this? Or can a less all-or-nothing feature be developed?Kind regards,Jesper Doorn

Date format in Legacy report vs Setting

Hi,In settings, I’ve set my date formatting to DD/MM/YYYY. But in the (legacy) reports it appears as MM/DD/YYYY. Is this a bug or can I format the date in a different way?If it’s a bug, or an intentional feature which I would find very strange, is there a potential solution?Kind regards,Jesper Doorn

Can't add Companies to the Related Section for People records?

Is there any reason the Companies shouldn’t be listed in the Related Section for People?  or At minimum the option to add Companies to the related section for People.  Currently, for Companies if I want to create, view, edit, add, drill down into, etc. I have to drill down into the People record to do so.  I can see companies related to Opportunities

Business Type Vs Product type

What is the best way to use the “Account Type” field for a company? We are having some internal confusion and can’t determine the optimal flow. We are getting the type of company or business mixed in with the product they are using. Should we create a new field such as “Product Type” for the opportunity or a “Business Type” for the company or “Product Type” for the company? Or something else?

in my copper account, the customer records already have the LinkedIn and Facebook link, there must be a way to click the link next to it, should pull the latest contact info and update into copper records?

Spirits Industry Adaptation

I operate within the confines of a controlled liquor state, meaning I often am unable to track sales through traditionally methods and have been trying to adapt this software somewhat to provide a more full picture of sales efforts, conversion, and market trends that will inform our quarterly strategy moving forward. Does anyone have experience in this specific industry? The standard Pipelines/projects are not necessarily all that helpful, but maybe I am missing a way to customize more fully. Any info would be helpful, otherwise I’ll keep plugging away in settings.

To Do Items In Opportunity Vs Project

I’ve run into an issue where I have an opportunity with a task. I’ve also created a project associated with that opportunity. But I’m finding I duplicate to-do items. I have the same to do items in the project and in the opportunity. I like the board view of the project, but the to do items don’t sync to the opportunity. Is there a way to have them sync or should I try a different work flow?

Auto Logger duplicating activities on my Android

Hi, My auto logging on android duplicates all of my calls and text messages a second time, so I have double activities for calls and texts in my customer records.What can be done about this?  I make calls and perform text messages through the app and they get logged when I do them.  Then when I open the app again the next day, my activities from the day before auto log again as the app is loading.Please help, thank you!

Conversion Rate Calculations

Our cold email introduces us to warm contacts. We add these contacts to Copper as “people.”We have not currently been putting them into the pipeline at that point because that could be 50+ people per week but we do need a metric on warm lead to meetings booked to close.Can you please provide best practices?

Best Practices for a Recruiting firm

Hi everyone! I am a Talent Coordination Specialist at SymphonicHCM. We are a recruiting firm, and I was hoping to get some input from others that are also using Copper for recruiting. Tracking Past Companies

Hi there. We would like to be able to track People and their entire work history which means that we will sometimes have them associated with more than one company. Is there an easy way that anyone uses to track a person’s record and associate it with both their current company AND their past company? Thank you!
