Allow the "Calendar Events" section to add Existing Events, not just create new ones

Currently, when clicking under “Calendar Events” it creates a New Calendar Event within Google Calendar but how can we make it so it allows us to add a pre-existing event that has already been set up in Google Cal? The same way we can connect pre-existing documents from Google (Drive) Workspace, we should be able to connect pre-existing events.
